If you have experience in **mental health treatment** or other **group care environments** and can build rapport with **adolescents**, this position offers you some great opportunities.

**We are hiring for the following shift**:

- ** Shift**: Monday through Friday 6:00 am - 2:00 pm
- _ The pay rate is $21 - $22/hour._

**In this role, you will**:

- Provide line-of-sight supervision to clients.
- Complete house-related chores as assigned.
- Strive to increase professional growth and effectiveness by completing all required training.
- Provide crisis intervention services when authorized and necessary.
- Maintain active participation with the clients as required.
- Prepare and monitor medication administration then document all details in KIPU.
- Document clients’ nightly activities, unusual behavior, and pertinent information in KIPU.
- Maintain open communication with staff, therapist, and Program Director.
- Encourage clients and promote positive interactions among peers.
- Carry out other responsibilities as delegated.

**To be a good fit for the Psych Tech opportunity, you will have**:

- A high school diploma or GED.
- A valid California driver's license and the ability to pass and maintain a clean driving record check(MVR).
- Ability to pass a background check, and complete a physical and TB test.
- First Aid and CPR certifications are required but can be earned through us prior to your start date, if needed.
- A genuine desire to work with adolescents.
- Good judgment, a positive attitude, dependability and confidentiality.
- Knowledge of regulations concerning mental health treatment is a plus.
- Working knowledge of substance abuse, mental health disorders, and treatment procedures for such illnesses is highly desired.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds.
