The Manufacturing Engineer 3 must be able to reason through manufacturing and assembly problems independently.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.**
- Troubleshoot any problem on a Haas machine within their discipline, mechanical or electrical.
- Troubleshoot basic machine geometry problems.
- Design assembly tooling that is rugged and simple to use as well as design logical floor plans for manufacturing.
- Ownership of their projects and drive all aspects to completion.
- Meet aggressive deadlines consistently and work well independently.
- Solve most manufacturing problems on the shop floor as well as develop manufacturing procedures for new and existing product lines.
- Design a manufacturing process, including tooling, work instructions, labor standards, facility layouts, and spec out equipment.
- May act as lead to junior employees within the department.
- Employees are expected to follow instructions, procedures and to escalate any issue impacting workflow, quality, etc.
- Employees must exhibit honesty and integrity as well as demonstrate adherence to rules, procedures and policies.

**Education**

Bachelor's Degree BA/BS/BFA/BSA from a four-year college or university is required, plus additional related experience, training and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
