JINYA is a fast paced, loud and fun environment, offering Japanese ramen and small plates in a casual setting. We also have a large selection of Japanese whiskeys, sake, beer and more.

**Duties**:

- Learning our food and beverage menu to guide guests through their experience
- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations
- Delivering food and drink items
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the restaurant through prebussing tables, sweeping, etc.
- Assisting other departments (host, expeditor, busser) as necessary
- Restocking ice, glassware, polishing silverware, etc.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following standard recipes (Bartenders)
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area and adhere to health and safety regulations (Bartenders)
- Monitor inventory levels and restock bar supplies as needed (Bartenders)
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately

**Experience**:

- Prior experience in bartending and/or within the food industry
- Proficiency in using POS systems for order processing
- Strong knowledge of retail math for handling sales transactions
- Familiarity with food handling procedures and catering services
- Ability to multitask in a busy restaurant environment
- Excellent communication skills and customer-oriented approach

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
