Babies who need specialized attention because of premature birth or medical conditions are cared for in our state-of-the-art Level III+ Lundy Family Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Our NICU has sophisticated equipment specially designed to care for critically
- ill newborns in an environment that fosters healthy development. Howard County General Hospital is a private, not-for-profit, community health care provider, governed by a community-based board of trustees. Opened in 1973, the original 59-bed, short-stay hospital has grown into a comprehensive acute care medical center with 226 licensed beds, specializing in women’s and children’s services, surgery, cardiology, oncology, orthopedics, gerontology, psychiatry, emergency services and community health education. **Qualifications**:

- BSN is preferred. Associate degree RNs will be required to matriculate within 4 years of hire.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience required
- Previous NICU experience strongly preferred
- Current Maryland RN license or other compact state license that allows practice in Maryland
- CPR required
- Must be able to pass all hospital competencies required for the position including but not limited to the following: ACLS, PALS, NRP
