Summary

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- ** Analyze and evaluate financial statements, balance sheets, and budgets of agricultural businesses to assess creditworthiness.**:

- ** Utilize Moody's WebEquity to conduct in-depth credit analyses and risk assessments.**:

- Reviews lender assigned risk grades on commercial and business credits. Confirms or changes the grade and issues a report of the findings for the lender and management.
- Spreads financial statements regularly to assist lenders in analyzing credits.
- Reviews loan work-ups for completion and proper execution to ensure adequate enforceability of company’s position for new and existing loans reviewed. This includes loan details, document review, financial copies, approvals, etc.
- Determines that loan file documentation is complete and properly executed to ensure adequate enforceability of the company’s position for all new loans reviewed.
- Prepares various reports. May provide regulators and auditors with information needed to assess company’s compliance with loan review policies and procedures and reserve adequacy methods.
- Lead or assist with projects that will consist primarily of credit administration issues and may relate to possible changes in policies and procedure, possible changes as a result of examiner or auditor recommendations, peer group analysis, market studies, changes in compliance and regulations, software upgrades, monitoring of industry or borrower concentrations, risk assessments, and feasibility studies for efficiency gains such as out-sourcing, in-sourcing, centralization of duties/staff, etc.
- Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.

**About You**

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Minimum two years of experience as a Credit Analyst in Agriculatural and Commercial Lending
- Bachelor degree in Finance or Accounting preferred

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, ABILITY**:

- Strong understanding of agricultural balance sheets, budgets, and financial statements.
- Experience with loan structuring and portfolio management in the agricultural sector.
- Proficiency in Moody's WebEquity or similar credit analysis software preferred
- Familiarity with local agricultural markets and farming practices

**WORK ENVIRONMENT**: Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with moderate noise level.

Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours or travel off site whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation.

Specific lifting abilities required by this job include: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation/inspection of machines and/or using measurement devices at distances close to the eyes.
