Responsibilities:
Assist physician with direct patient care: triaging patients, recording vitals, and patient histories. Provide assistance with pre authorization and insurance verifications. Process and label specimens for lab pick ups. Sterilize instruments, room prep/cleaning. Maintain general office upkeep and cleanliness.

This is a face pace environment. Therefore, you must demonstrate the ability to work well under pressure, be a team player, multi-task, and maintain professionalism. Must have great phone etiquette, time management and organizational skills.

Qualifications:

- a minimum of 2 years experience as a medical assistant and at least 1 year working in an OBGYN setting.
- previous experience with Athena health electronic medical record.

We are a new practice looking to build a dynamic team who is willing to grow with us. Only serious applicants willing to meet the expectations, responsibilities, and requirements should apply.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 24 per week
