Sun River Health is looking to hire a full time Chief of Advocacy and Government Affairs. This position will lead the administrative components and ensures that our program departments receive the appropriate support to deliver the highest level of services we promise to our clients and patients. Reporting to the CEO and serving as a key member of our senior executive team, this person will oversee several key administrative functions including Marketing & Development, Human Resources, Environmental Services, Information Technology and Strategy & Integration. In addition, this person will oversee our crucial Business Development and Managed Care functions. This new leadership position has been created in response to the organization’s tremendous growth and its need and desire to provide the highest level of health and social services to the underserved populations of New York City in a rapidly changing healthcare environment.

Job Competencies and Responsibilities:

- Provide leadership, direction and coordination of organization wide transportation efforts in support of organizational goals and KPIs.
- Provide leadership, direction and coordination for facilities management in all Sun River Health Regions.
- Guide the development, implementation and evaluation of integrated administrative policies and procedures that will directly impact organizational effectiveess and efficiencies.
- Provide leadership, direction and coordination for capital improvement projects in response to new strategic initiatives and/or new funding.
- Lead the administrative functions (capital, security, facilities, advocacy, transportation) in a manner that ensures key results and serves as a role model for our values.
- Serve as a member of the Senior Executive Team in establishing the organization’s vision, direction and strategy, implementing organization-wide strategies, providing ongoing organization-wide leadership and management, and establishing and reinforcing our organizational culture.
- Ensure that the various administrative components of the organization are working in a collaborative, coordinated and integrated manner, both amongst each other and with all areas of the organization.
- Provide leadership, direction and coordination for organization-wide advocacy, serving as organizational spokesperson as needed
- Develop, track and manage capital budgets for all Sun River Projects, both for new locations and/or for ongoing performance.

**Required Education/Experience**:

- Masters Degree in Public Administration or related field is required
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience working with vulnerable populations in healthcare setting is required
- Up to 50% travel to local SRH sites is required
