Due to growth, Omnia Healthcare Group is adding an HR Onboarding Specialist to our Home Office's Human Resources team. **Job Summary**:

- The HR Onboarding Specialist will be responsible for partnering with leadership in our skilled nursing facilities to ensure onboarding is consistent throughout the Illinois facilities. This role will work closely with the Home Office HR, Organizational Development, and Learning and Development Teams to develop processes and will guide the facilities’ leadership through the onboarding process.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Creating the process to welcome newly hired employees and executing the engagement plan throughout the onboarding journey; managing the end-to-end onboarding process, ensuring a great experience for new employees and a smooth start into their roles.
- Crafting and sending communication with information about the company, onboarding agenda, equipment handover, dress code, parking options, perks and similar items.
- Trending pulse surveys of new hires and use to improve processes.
- Gather data of hiring metrics from the ATS.
- Occasionally hosting onboarding sessions.
- Auditing data and setting up employee profiles in internal HR systems; assisting with the coordination, preparation, and distribution of employee documentation.
- Providing reporting and project updates to team lead and/or senior management.
- Ensuring compliance with all processes and maintaining a high level of confidentiality at all times.
- Identifying innovative and creative new ways to onboard new employees/reach a more scalable and measurable onboarding experience.- All other duties as assigned.**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Basic HR knowledge.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality.
- Ability to communicate professionally, both in writing and in-person using strong grammar skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as with others.
- Reliable transportation (up to 20% local travel to the facilities).
- Intermediate MS Office skills (e.g. Word, Powerpoint, Excel).

**Education and Experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or the equivalent experience is preferred.
- Minimum of three years of Talent Acquisition or Onboarding experience required.
- Experience creating and delivering training preferred.
- Experience identifying and delivering process improvements.
