Jewelry Associate

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Jewelry Associate to join our team. As a Jewelry Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their jewelry needs, and driving sales in our jewelry department.

**Duties**:

- Greet customers and provide them with personalized assistance
- Assist customers in selecting and purchasing jewelry items
- Educate customers on the features and benefits of different jewelry pieces
- Process sales transactions accurately using cash registers or point-of-sale (POS) systems
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, discounts, and special offers
- Ensure that the jewelry department is clean, organized, and well-stocked
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a professional manner
- Perform inventory management tasks such as receiving, unpacking, and stocking merchandise
- Utilize retail math skills to calculate prices, discounts, and sales totals

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in retail sales, preferably in the jewelry industry
- Strong knowledge of jewelry products and trends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in using cash registers or POS systems
- Bilingual skills (if applicable) to effectively serve diverse customer base
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic understanding of electronics sales for handling electronic payment methods
- Strong sales skills with a focus on providing exceptional customer service
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone

Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
