Blue Water Thinking is seeking an experienced and dedicated Web Design/Graphic Artist to join our team, supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). This role requires a team member with practical experience and theoretical knowledge in web design and graphic arts, who understands the overall purpose of their task assignments and can contribute effectively within specified guidelines.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design and develop visually appealing and user-friendly websites and digital assets.
- Create graphics and visual elements that effectively communicate brand messages.
- Collaborate with the consulting staff to understand project requirements and deliver within specified guidelines.
- Ensure design consistency across all media and platforms.

The position operates on a hybrid work schedule, requiring on-site presence for five days each pay cycle, primarily in the DC metropolitan area, at various identified VA location.

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in web design or graphic arts.
- Strong proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite and web development tools.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and deliver results within tight deadlines.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Advanced skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant web design coding languages.
- Experience with user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design.
- Portfolio showcasing a range of creative design and web projects.
- Experience in a consulting environment or supporting government clients, particularly in healthcare or federal sectors.

**Eligibility**:

- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the required federal public trust clearance for this role.

**Compensation**:
The proposed salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000.
