**This is a First Shift position 6:00AM-4:30PM Monday-Thursday**

The Material Handler is responsible for safely executing the varied responsibilities to meet the

production schedule and quality targets.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Perform visual quality checks on all finished products.
- Remove strut from mill and bundle as appropriate.
- Assemble concrete insert strut.
- Prepare and/or bundle strut pieces for welder.
- Load and unload machines.
- Package baseboard and other materials.
- Assembly of baseboard accessories including pressing and welding.
- Assemble rooftop blocks.
- Load coils onto coil joiner and weld properly.
- Support and provide input for continuous improvement activities.
- Maintain cleanliness of area according to 5S principles to provide a safe and effective

working space.
- Maintain integrity of equipment and report issues to supervisor or maintenance.
- Support with on-the-job training for material handler activities.

- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and ensure accuracy.
- Commitment to safety and to adhere to all safety rules.
- Demonstrates ability to work in team, treat colleagues with respect and has a high level

of accountability / punctuality.
- Willingness to be cross-trained and rotate through all business functions as required by

business needs.
- Proven record of strong attendance.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic computer skills.
