Pottstown is located along the Schuylkill River and is part of both Chester and Montgomery counties. It is located approximately 40 miles northwest of Philadelphia and is within driving distance to nearby major cities of New York, Baltimore, and Washington D.C. as well as the New Jersey coastline and beaches.
