Lead Dispatcher

**OFFICE ADMIN/ DISPATCH ASSISTANT**
**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
Looking for a detail oriented, self motivated multi-tasker who excels in customer service, and wants to be part of a fun, dynamic team. This position will be the lead dispatcher for a small family owned plumbing company, experience is a must.
**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**:
1. Answer customer calls and get adequate information to create service call
2. Using web based system, create work orders, schedule service calls and dispatch technicians
3. Ability to handle stressful situations and keep a calm temperament when customers call in with emergencies
4. Respond quickly to customer inquiries
5. Perform follow up calls to customers
6. Maintain maintenance contracts
7. Proficient in dispatch software (required)
8. Experience in Microsoft office, Excel, Adobe and Microsoft Word (required)
9. Experience and/or training in customer service, dispatching or project management or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
10. Geographical knowledge of service area or map reading skills
10. Valid California State Driver’s License
11. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check

**SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY**:
This position has no supervisory responsibility.
**POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK**:
This is a full-time position. Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
**WORK ENVIRONMENT**
- This job operates in a professional office environment.
- Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice.
- Must be able to sit / stand for long periods of time.
- May be required to lift up to 40lbs.

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
