Daytime Dog Walker

IMPORTANT READ FIRST:
Going Mutts is looking for a reliable, responsible and loyal individual. This is not a temporary or seasonal position. Our dogs need to be walked year-round. You must have a stable work availability to meet the needs of our dogs. This position is for Lititz Therefore, you must have valid drivers license and reliable vehicle. You must be comfortable driving, parking and walking in town, developments and trails. must be a Lititz resident or live within 3 to 2 mile radius of downtown..

Hours:

- Monday - Friday (we would need at least 2-3 days of availability)
- 10:30 am - 1:30 pm most days, 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm (if/as availability allows)

Overview: We are currently seeking a reliable and responsible individual to join our Lancaster City team. As a Dog Walker, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of dog breeds and provide them with exercise and companionship. This is a great opportunity for individuals who love animals and enjoy spending time outdoors.

**Duties**:

- Take dog(s) out for 15 - 30 minute walk and potty break between the hours of 10:00am and 3:00pm
- Playtime (as needed or during inclement weather)
- Waste removal, freshen up water
- Daily Feeding (as needed)
- Medicine Administration (as needed)
- Follow specific instructions provided by dog owners regarding their pets’ care
- Ensure the safety and well-being of the dogs at all times

**Skills**:

- Knowledge of basic animal care and behavior
- Ability to handle dogs of various sizes and temperaments
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with dog owners and team members
- Physical stamina to walk for extended periods of time and handle dogs on leashes
- Reliable and punctual, with the ability to adhere to a set schedule

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 10 per week
