Our goal is to impact climate change and support agriculture, in the state of maryland, one bit of food waste at a time We are the last line of defense for diverting food waste from landfills across the stare of maryland. Food waste accounts for 58% of the methane gas produced from landfills. We take those diverted food scraps and transform them into a healthy soil amentment with a positive impact on soil health in the state. **Overview**:
Our main hub is located in stevensville, MD. Routes are located state wide. You will be responsible for collecting food waste from a variety of residences and large and small businesses.

**Duties**:

- Safely operate company vehicles
- Be able to lift up-to 50 lbs, unassisted, multiple times a day
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and communicate maintinance needs
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations during transport
- Collect and handle compost in a safe manner
- Record all applicable can weights
- Operate equipment or be willing to learn
- Rinse collection cans at the end of each day
- Mix and deliver a variety of soils with equipment and deliver in a non-cdl dump truck
- Have a "never quit" attitude and a saftey first mindset

**Experience**:

- Proven experience as a Driver or relevant position
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, no CDL required
- Willingness to obtain a DOT medical card
- Ability to operate various types of vehicles including trucks and equipment
- Familiarity with GPS devices and route planning software
- Strong communication skills and customer service-oriented approach

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.71 - $21.46 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
