**About this role**:
This role sits within the HST Strategy and BD&L team, reporting to Senior Director of Strategy, working closely and in collaboration with the HST Leadership Team, contributing and managing multiple business transformation initiatives.

Seeking an individual to drive strategic thought leadership in transformation, project management, culture, and best practices - to support and drive key iniatives to completion at Baxter. This role will require a great deal of flexibility (i.e., projects shifting and changing as needed) and leadership presense - it is highly visible and engages with leaders regularly.

**Business Transformation Projects**:

- Drive high-impact strategic projects to transform HST global divisions, specifically focused on supporting business optimization.
- Manage various projects designed to shape, define & improve the strategic direction of existing processes.
- Identify & drive resolution of operational issues within GTS & DPI integration that impact Pan-Baxter.

**Cross-Functional Collaboration**:

- Support the goals and objectives for HST team -including delivering on key KPIs
- Promote a culture that has a common direction, shared sense of purpose, and continuous improvement. Set the tone and lead by example (e.g., high-touch, consistent messaging)
- Create effective channels of communication to facilitate information sharing, idea exchange, project management, and timely feedback.
- Establish effective processes for communications and knowledge sharing within the team and across the segment.
- Explore and implement collaborative tools/technology.

**Business Integration**:

- Provide strategic thinking, and program management to complete the successful integration of Hillrom into HST/Baxter to realize the full value of the $12.5B acquisition.
- Partner with Strategy, Senior Leadership Team, HR, Product teams and other functions to drive the HST integration roadmap (Ex: Payments, employee experience, contracting process, Adprom)
- Manage the creation of roles and responsibilities matrix across HST between Divisions, Regions & Embedded Functions (key follow-up for HST integration) - address current overlap between roles, create process workflow and partner with cross-functional partners to drive alignment and organizational efficiency.
- In collaboration with the HST leadership team, develop the GEMS return to growth strategy and execution in partnership with regional teams, including organization design, incentives, interlock with product teams.
- Partner in the evaluation of the location strategy for HST (in collaboration w/ pan-Baxter segments) to determine HST future footprint. Includes analyzing sourcing strategy, transportation, lead times, labor rates, currency impacts and demand plans
- Provide input into the strategic planning and pipeline processes for HST

**Requirements**:

- 10+ years of experience in consulting or related fields
- Healthcare/medical device/professional services experiences strongly preferred.
- Work on-site in a Baxter location 3 days per week.
