Janitorial Worker

Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Janitor to join our team. As a Janitor, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and ensuring the overall appearance of our facilities.

**Responsibilities**:

- Clean and sanitize designated areas, including restrooms, break rooms, offices, and common areas
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Dust furniture, fixtures, and equipment
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors
- Perform floor care duties such as buffing and waxing
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when restocking is needed
- Follow proper safety procedures and utilize personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel
- Adhere to company policies and procedures

**Skills**:

- Previous experience in commercial or industrial cleaning preferred
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
- Ability to operate floor care machines such as buffers and carpet cleaners
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of cleanliness
- Good time management skills to complete tasks efficiently
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $16.01 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 20 per week
