Reporting to the Service Center Manager, the Power Equipment Operator will be operating power equipment to move product through the Distribution network.

**Work location: Berlin, NJ**

**Shift: 11:30AM-7:30PM Monday
- Friday (Subject to change)**

**Compensation: $21.17 (3:30PM-7:30PM $0.30 shift differential)**

**Responsibilities**:

- You can expect the work to be very physically demanding with an extremely high focus on your safety and the safety of others
- You will be driving power and lifting heavy equipment (Forklift and clamp truck)
- Loads material onto skids or pallets manually for shipment or use in the production area.
- Performs the necessary cleaning, servicing and driver maintenance including checking oil, water and fuel levels refilling as needed.
- Fills out a master packing list on all orders consisting of more than one shipping tally.
- Keeps the warehouse and stores area in a clean and orderly condition.
- Checks all trucks and boxcars before loading as to cleanliness, leaks, odors, protruding nails, steel bands, etc.
- Loads or unloads materials manually into or from clean boxcars and trucks in a manner that will prevent damage while in route.
- Prepares accurate reports, records and work timecards as maybe required.
- May use simple hand tools (crowbar, hammer) to do miner work on warehouse pallets and shipping or receiving vehicle. This does not mean forklift.

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**
- Would prefer a High School diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

**Physical Requirements**:

- Must be able to read, speak, and write English
- Must be able to distinguish between colors.
- Must be able to hear forklifts traveling in forward or reverse direction.
- Range of Motion: Full repetitive bending and lifting.
- Lifting Capacity: Must be able to lift 75-pound bundles without assistance.
- Sitting/Standing: Continuous standing, walking and moving daily.
- Safe and ergonomic bending also regularly expected throughout shift.
