**JOB DESCRIPTION** Party Reference Data Strategic Data Creation, Associate**

**Party Reference Data** is a firmwide function supporting all lines of business. Parties include clients, issuers, obligors, guarantors, counterparties, exchanges, etc. The Utility is responsible for managing party data throughout its lifecycle, from onboarding to disposition. Party reference data is at the heart of every transaction executed by the firm. Reference data connects parties to contracts, parties to accounts, and parties to transactions. JPMC is on a multi-year journey to transform the way we capture, structure, and store party reference data. We are building a scalable, flexible platform to meet evolving business and regulatory demands with the goals of improving the client experience, simplifying operations, and enhancing analytical capabilities.

The role of **Party Reference Strategic Data Creation, Associate **is to support strategic and business data analysis, entitlements, and Strategic Data initiatives with Reference Data Strategy and the Party Reference Data Utility. The role is responsible for the following activities:
**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee implementation of global standards, ongoing governance, and maintenance of end-user access entitlements and governing policies for existing and strategic programs
- Partner with stakeholders and colleagues to clearly define Critical Data Elements and their regulatory impact, business rules, data quality, and reporting
- Deliver party record creation for firmwide servicing initiatives, manage populations and engage with broad range of internal stakeholders and partners
- Mine, analyze, and report on large, complex data sets related to Party Reference Data
- Drive analytics scope, objectives, and timeframes and reporting

**Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills**
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience in project management and financial services required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
- Analytical, detail-orientated, with a flexible proactive collaborative approach and the ability to adapt to business change
- Experienced with reference data systems, data analysis and data quality with demonstrated advanced proficiency using Excel, PowerPoint, Alteryx
- Clear oral and written communication skills, with ability to draw conclusions from data analysis and effectively communicate them to management and team members
- Self-starter with excellent project leadership, interpersonal, and project management skills
- Ability to develop secure stakeholder relationships and gain consensus on key decisions
- Maintain a sense of urgency and ability to prioritize/multi-task, with ability to handle multiple deliverables concurrently to deliver high quality results in committed timeframes
- Demonstrated experience as a key contributing member of a high performing organization
- Builds a sense of community, creating a positive team environment and modeling a global, diverse mindset and inclusive behavior
- Ability to work under pressure and to fixed deadlines

**Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills**
- Experience with reference data systems, data analysis and data quality
- Excellent analytical background, problem solving, and communication skills are necessary
- Experience in managing complex projects from inception to delivery
- Solution oriented, leveraging a network to identify solutions and implement them
- Takes responsibility for issues and follows through to resolution
- Ability to influence outcomes and get the best from people, even where no direct line management responsibility exists
- A flexible proactive approach, ability to adapt to business change
- Final Job Grade and officer title will be determined at time of offer and may differ from this posting._
