**Job Summary**:
A Production Specialist operates equipment and performs processes to build hardware. Utilizes their advanced processing experience to trouble shoot and resolve issues with production support teams. Rigorously documents processes performed in electronic tracking systems. Executes tasks to ensure that equipment and processes being used are in control. May assist in directing work, outlining tasks and checking other’s work for correctness.

**3rd Shift - 10:00PM - 6:30AM - Goleta, California. This position is an onsite role.**

**Responsibilities to Anticipate**:

- The ability to work in a class 100 cleanroom, in a full bunny suit, under yellow lights is required.
- Operation of semiconductor style equipment (coat, expose, develop, wet etch, hotplate, surface treatment, deposition, metrology, inspection tools, hybridizers etc) to build hardware.
- Following written procedures and work instructions
- Handling fragile hardware and manually manipulate small parts during processing.
- Documenting data on travelers and in the electronic database
- Utilize strong interpersonal communication skills with peers, support teams and management.
- Cross-training will be on going and requires the ability to learn new processes, equipment, techniques through guidance and direction from their trainers. Routine work is performed without supervision.

**Basic Qualifications**:

- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 6 years of production experience in cleanroom fabrication, assembly, or manufacturing.
- Experience in MS Office
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- More than six years of production experience in cleanroom fabrication, assembly or manufacturing.
- Experience in Photolithography, Wet Etch, Hybridization, Thin Film Deposition or other cleanroom Focal Plane Array, fabrication work cells.
- Ability to work safely with chemicals and raw production materials.
- Ability to multitask.

**Additional Information**:

- **_Onsite:_**_ Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products._
- _Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader._
- _Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed._
