**Overview**

We are seeking a talented and versatile HR Generalist to join our team. The HR Generalist will play a key role in providing comprehensive HR support and services to multiple subsidiaries within our organization, ensuring that employees' needs are met while aligning with company goals and policies. This position offers a unique opportunity to be involved in various aspects of HR including safety compliance, talent acquisition, recruiting, payroll, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration and onboarding. You will report to the senior management team at Tenth Avenue Holdings

**What You'll Do**
- Process payroll biweekly for hourly and salaried employees using Paychex Flex
- Manage time cards, missed punches etc.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and create job descriptions.
- Conduct background checks and verify employment references.
- Manage the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth and positive experience.
- Act as a point of contact for employees on HR-related matters and address inquiries. Mediate and resolve minor conflicts and issues among employees, promoting a harmonious work environment. Major issues will be handled by an external HR consultant and/or employment lawyer.
- Counsel and provide guidance to employees on company policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Collaborate in the development and implementation of employee development plans. Support managers in addressing performance concerns and implementing performance improvement plans.
- Assist in the management of the administration of employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
- Collaborate with benefits providers to resolve issues and ensure accurate and timely processing.

Understand OSHA guidelines fluently and assist in implementing safety policy and procedures - specifically within the manufacturing industry.
- Support initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention. Organize employee events and activities to foster a positive and inclusive company culture.
- Identify training needs and assist in the design and delivery of HR-related training programs.
- Encourage employee development and continuous learning.

**Who You Are**
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-5+ years proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar HR role
- Payroll Processing expert, comfortable in running payroll for multiple brands
- Talent Acquisition experience specifically with warehouse and/or manufacturing recruiting
- Knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations, including safety for a production environment
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines across multiple entities.
- Paychex Flex Payroll experience a plus
- Proficient in HRIS and other HR-related software.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

**Preferred/Big Plus**
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR).
- Experience in diverse recruitment and talent acquisition strategies.

Pay: $65,000.00 per year
