Classroom Assistant

_Classroom assistant. _
The Montessori Children’s Room seeks a Classroom Assistant. Responsibilities include:

- Provide support to lead teachers.
- Supervise students within the classroom and during recreational activities.
- Provide an environment of comfort and security for young students by displaying nurturing behavior.
- Assist students during lunchtime, toileting and washing activities.
- Promote independence in activities and self care
- Model appropriate behavior.
- Be involved in student record keeping and general classroom clerical activities.

Experience is not required

Hourly Rate - $18 to $20 / hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
