Maintenance Worker

Camp Reimagined is an innovative 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to providing transformative and inclusive Camping experiences for individuals historically excluded from the Camping industry. Serving as a hub for internal Camp programs and a collaborative space for struggling, new, or revolutionary Camps and models, we play a vital role in reducing costs and barriers while exploring diverse and dynamic programming opportunities for populations lacking traditional means or access to Camps, nature, or safe spaces altogether.

**This role’s core responsibilities are to**:

- Inspects the building, grounds, and equipment.
- Handles necessary repairs and maintenance.
- Installs equipment and appliances.
- Follows local and state building codes.
- Complies with all company safety regulations.
- Reports any issues to the property Manager or management.
- Responds to repair and maintenance requests via work order software in a timely fashion.
- Loads and unloads equipment and tools into work vehicles if needed.
- Follows written and verbal instructions from team and staff.
- Collaborates with the maintenance team, program team and contractors as needed.
- Uses equipment, including power tools, hand tools, electric tools, and plumbing tools.
- Maintain grounds, including upkeep, trimming, edging, mowing lawn, collecting trash, etc.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a maintenance worker or other similar position, preferably in a large property setting.
- Basic working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Experience working with tools, including hand and electrical tools.
- Ability to read and utilize technical manuals and drawings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- General passion for creative problem-solving.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $24.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
