Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and friendly Server to join our team. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring guest satisfaction. Your main duties will include taking food and drink orders, serving meals, and handling payments. If you have a passion for the food industry and enjoy interacting with people, we would love to hear from you.
**Duties**:
- Greet and seat guests in a timely and friendly manner
- Present menus and provide detailed information on food and beverage options
- Take accurate food and drink orders from guests
- Deliver orders to tables promptly and accurately
- Ensure guest satisfaction by checking on them during their meal
- Assist with any special requests or dietary restrictions
- Handle cash transactions using a cash register and process credit card payments
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of meals
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area
- Help with basic kitchen tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to provide exceptional guest experiences
- Basic math skills for handling payments and making change
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
- Familiarity with Aloha POS system is a plus
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Please note that all positions at our establishment are paid positions, including internships.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $18.07 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
