Summary

Responsible for loading, unloading, preparing, and moving materials, and performing various functions in each area of material handling as assigned by performing the following duties.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 12pm-8pm. Must be flexible.

Pay: $24.92-$25.92/hour

$2.00 shift premium for any hours worked between 6pm-6am

**Responsibilities**:

- Primary - All Material Handlers_

Performs various functions in each area of material handling as assigned.

Ability to work with RF scanners and computers

Demonstrates safe work habits and follows all company policies and procedures. Follows all GMP guidelines.

Demonstrates initiative and strong interpersonal, communication, and team skills.

Demonstrates safe and quality conscious work habits and follows all company policies and procedures.

Demonstrates prompt and regular attendance.

Employees are responsible for understanding and complying with the Current Good Manufacturing Practices and Food Safety guidelines to ensure that quality food products are manufactured in a sanitary production environment and delivered with superior protection to our customers and consumers.

Works required overtime as needed.

Performs all other duties as assigned. (However some may become primary)
- Primary - Shipping & Receiving_

Loads and unloads materials and product from trucks and hand pick cases (average 108)

Moves inventory to and from locations using RF scanners

Rotates inventory and maintains accurate inventories and required inventory records.

Transports materials and product from storage or work sites to designated areas.

Completes all shipping and receiving record keeping, tagging, and documentation. (Tags up to 20 loads per day.)

Utilizes and coordinates warehouse racking and space to maximum efficiency.

Completes sealing and signing for all loads. (Sealing is walking up and down 7 steps up to 20 times per day.)

Operates industrial fork trucks and other warehouse equipment.

Performs daily inspections and sanitation of forklifts.

Helps others as required

Keeps equipment and indoor and outdoor work areas clean and orderly; by walking behind a broom removing dust, dirt, and debris from pallets. Also operates a floor scrubber.

Performs all other duties as assigned. (However some may become primary)

Maintains internal warehouse.

Maintains external warehouse inventories and supplies.

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and 1-2 years of related experience and/or training.

Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to complete paperwork and operate a bar coding scanner. Ability to effectively communicate with truck drivers, plant employees and management as needed.

Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
