- Maintenance staff: 24 full-time staff, including the Superintendent, Assistant, and Equipment Manager
- Equipment: All leased equipment is Toro, with a mix of owned Toro equipment and John Deere tractors
- Irrigation system: Toro SitePro

Key Responsibilities, Skills, Aptitude, and Knowledge:

- Participate in the development of all turf management programs and practices.
- Participate in the development and execution of golf course budget and monitoring thereof.
- Assist in supervision of routine maintenance functions, assist in scheduling, assignments, and equipment distribution, and be held accountable for the same.
- Assist in the supervision of all improvement work and projects on golf course as assigned by the Assistant Superintendent and Superintendent
- Assist in supervision of irrigation and drainage systems operation and maintenance.
- Supervise and perform fertilization, spraying, and cultural activities on all turf areas as assigned by the superintendent.
- Assist in the training of all crew members as required for proper work performance and safety.
- Assist in the recording of documentation of weather, work, spray, fertilization, cultural, and other data as required in designated logbooks and forms.
- Communicate with shop mechanics for all repairs and service.
- Maintain communications with other supervisors as needed.
- Subject to flexible schedule and hours and required to be on call for emergencies.
- Performs other related duties as requested by the Superintendent or General Manager.

**Requirements**:

- 2- or 4-year degree in turf grass management or a related field preferred, but not required
- Golf course maintenance experience is preferred, but not required

Compensation and Benefits:

- $20.00 - $25.00 per hour, dependent on experience
