Dental Receptionist/front Desk

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and professional Dental Receptionist to join our team. We are a family dental practice and we pride ourselves on being a great team to each other and for our patients. We are a private practice and not part of corporate dentistry practices.

Our office is open Monday-Thursday 7-5 with lunch from 11:45-12:45

As a Dental Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support in a dental office setting.

Responsibilities include:

- Greet patients and visitors with a warm and friendly demeanor
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments using dental scheduling software (Eaglesoft)
- Collect patient information and update electronic health records
- Assist with billing and financial transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
- Coordinate patient referrals to specialists as needed
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
- Assist with ordering office and dental supplies

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar role is preferred
- Proficient in using dental office software ( Eaglesoft) is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
- Familiarity with phone systems and handling multiple phone lines
