A new exciting role in the BHI Financial Crime Risk Management (“FCRM”) team has been created for a Financial Crime Risk Management Assurance Manager.

As a compliance professional, you will be working on the latest developments contributing your talent to our team. The primary role of the Financial Crime Risk Management Assurance Manager is to deliver on the FCRM assurance strategy, in particular implementing a global monitoring and testing program across our Group.

This individual will lead the design and roll-out of our Financial Crime Assurance program. They will also coordinate and manage the performance of all Assurance activities relating to the FCRM control environment across all of our Brands and businesses globally.

This role will suit someone passionate about assurance, testing, and controls monitoring, building relationships, and working independently.

**In this role you will get to**:

- Develop and lead the Financial Crime Risk Management Assurance function, setting strategic objectives, and providing direction on all FCRM Assurance plans and reporting.
- Define the Annual Assurance Plan and oversee FCRM Assurance reviews, issue validation, and monitoring activities to evaluate the effectiveness of controls and identify areas for improvement.
- Design and implement a comprehensive FCRM Assurance framework, policies, and procedures that align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the BHI Group of Brands and Businesses
- Stay up-to-date with relevant laws, regulations, and industry developments, and ensure that the Assurance plan reflects any changes.
- Identify opportunities to leverage data and analytics cross-functionally to enhance existing Assurance plans and approaches and define a strategy to embed Continuous Assurance Techniques.

**What you have**:

- 5+ years of Audit and /or Compliance Assurance experience, preferably with ‘Big 4’ or other large financial institutions, consulting firms or government agencies
- Understanding of Financial Crime Compliance obligations including Sanctions regimes (OFAC, EU, and OFSI) and standard AML requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills (ability to translate complex information into comprehensive and concise test results and recommendations)
- Must be oriented, have strong organizational skills, and have solid problem-solving abilities
- Exhibit strong planning and organizational skills
- Ability to manage assignments that are of diverse scope and complexity and require significant initiative and judgment
- Open to international travel

There are a variety of job related factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. In addition to a competitive base salary, roles are eligible to be considered for an annual bonus and equity grant.

The base salary range for Connecticut and the NYC-metro area is $127,800-$156,200.
