- Field & Main is located in the quaint town of Marshall, 1 hour west of Washington, DC, amidst horse and wine country, surrounded by the farmers, artisans, and producers that supply the majority of its menu.
- There is a warm and welcoming energy found in the charming 200-year-old building that houses Field & Main. Each dining room offers a unique experience including the cozy upstairs bar, romantic outdoor private dining cabanas, and casual garden patio seating.
- We are currently open 4 dinner services each week (Thursday - Sunday) plus ancillary private dining groups and events. Each service is organized and fast-paced while also allowing space to connect with guests and provide them with a truly memorable experience.

**Position Details**:
The dining room manager will split their time between office administration and nightly service helping to ensure a positive experience for all guests and staff. Duties include:
- Managing the reservation book, coordinating staffing and section assignments, overseeing menu printing and special guest requests
- Answering phones; making reservations; overseeing the details and organization of the reservation book
- Managing the weekly FOH schedule; ensuring appropriate staffing levels balanced with service demand
- Integrating group dining requests into reservation management and staffing requirements
- Ensuring linens and other service related supplies are stocked and organized
- Coordinating pre-service assignments, keeping staff accountable to standards and service expectations
- Connecting with guests; managing guest experience and points of dissatisfaction

- Typical Weekly Schedule: Wednesday 11:00am - 5:00pm; Thursday - Sunday 12:00pm - 9:00pm or 1:00pm - 11pm (close).
**Requirements**:
- Must have 3+ years of management experience preferably at upscale dining establishments
- Must have training experience and proven track record of system implementation and execution of standards
- Must be available to work nights and weekends.
- Must have strong customer service skills, a positive attitude and willingness to learn, contribute, and grow within a team environment.
- Must have computer proficiency including MS Office Suite
