**Job Title: Experienced Concrete Estimator**

**Job Summary**:
The Concrete Estimator will be responsible for accurately estimating project costs, preparing bids, change orders, and collaborating with project managers and clients to ensure successful project completion.

This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong communication and analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to determine concrete requirements and project scope.
- Utilize estimating software for “take offs”, and tools to prepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
- Collaborate and document any communication with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to clarify project requirements and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
- Prepare accurate and timely bids, proposals, and cost breakdowns for client submission.
- Maintain a comprehensive database of historical project costs and benchmarks to support accurate estimating.
- Continuously monitor and analyze market trends, material costs, and labor rates to ensure competitive and profitable pricing.
- Participate in pre-bid meetings (when needed), site visits, and negotiation discussions with clients and subcontractors.
- Assist in the review and evaluation of subcontractor bids and proposals.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to project teams during the construction phase, including change order evaluations and cost tracking.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field experience (preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Concrete Estimator in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of concrete construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
- Good verbal and written communication skills for dealing with contractors, suppliers, purchasing, sales and others.
- Proficient in estimating software and tools, such as Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar programs.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with complex project plans and specifications.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and permitting processes.
- Professional certifications, such as Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) or equivalent, are not required but a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret technical and legal documents.
- Knowledge of related structural products: joist, deck, stairs, rails, anchor rods, etc
- Ability to assemble scope of work with required information in including inclusions, exclusions and qualifications.
- Knowledge of terminology customarily used in Concrete.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
