Dermatology Consultants is seeking a Medical Assistant (surgical experience preferred) to work a dual position in our MOHS department and in general dermatology. We are looking for people with a positive attitude, willingness to learn, willingness to support the team and aim to provide excellent care to all patients.

This position will be assisting with Mohs surgery and assisting in general dermatology.
- Main Mohs assistant responsibilities are:_
- Preparing the patient to be seen by the provider.
- **Assisting MOHS surgeon with clean/sterile surgical procedures.**:

- Accurate charting/documentation of history of present illness and procedure.
- Informing patient on wound care instructions.
- Calling patients back and addressing concerns appropriately, following up to verify completion of tasks.
- Scheduling patients for Mohs surgery
- Stocking rooms, sterilizing instruments, etc.
- Other tasks as assigned.
- Main general dermatology assistant responsibilities are:_
- Rooming patients
- Accurate charting & scribing in exam room with provider
- Assisting w/ in office procedures (biopsies, clean/sterile excisions, etc.)
- Calling patients back regarding questions and concerns
- Stocking/cleaning rooms
- Other tasks as assigned

Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37 - 40 per week
