Then we would like to talk with you We are seeking a part-time (28-36 hours a week) medical assistant who enjoys working with children and their families, while assessing the health needs of their patients. This is a great opportunity to be a part of a dynamic group of dedicated physicians and support staff working together to make a difference in the lives of the families we serve.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Performs vitals, rooms patients and gathers specimens.
- Documents necessary information in the EMR.
- Collects specimens, performs in-office lab testing and prepares specimens for outside labs.
- Assists with in-office patient procedures per protocol and training.
- Administering immunizations
- Contributes to the daily upkeep of office space and equipment.
- Demonstrates and supports PediaTrust Core Values.
- Performs cleaning and disinfection of instruments and equipment based on practice protocol.
- Performs digital health workflows and initiatives.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

**Required Education, Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Abilities**:

- Minimum High School Diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED)
- **Certification as a Medical Assistant**
- Excellent organization and communication skills
- **Strong knowledge and level of comfort with EPIC** or other EMR system
- **Experience in a clinical environment**
- Computer literacy
- CPR certification

**Job Type**: Part-time
