**Duties Description**

Oversight and management of the DWA unit, including mentoring and supervision of requested Data Analyst 2 and Data Analyst 1 items and HBITS contractors. Direct resource allocation and project timelines.
- Participation in agency level workgroups and steering committees related to data governance, systems development and change boards, facilitating communications between senior level stakeholders across programmatic divisions and with ITS partners.
- Oversight and the development of performance monitoring initiatives and data quality project timelines to ensure analytical approaches are effective and meet agency needs; create standards for documentation, analysis, presentation and maintenance of metrics and reporting; validate and reassess requirements with stakeholders over time and in response to data findings, and policy/practice changes.
- Create and maintain analytical codebooks to ensure accurate and consistent mapping of system elements to analytical concepts and uniform measurement of concepts across reporting vehicles.
- Conceptualization and design of data warehouse-based dashboards and visualization tools to assist users in summarizing and interpreting data findings, thereby promoting performance improvements.
- Creation and distribution of data warehouse newsletters and other stakeholder/user communications.
- Present results of analytics in multiple formats, include dashboards, visualizations, fact sheets and written reports for various stakeholder audiences.
- Tracking of all data warehouse system issues, system downtimes and defects related to data warehouse feeds, server and network issues. Analyze the root cause of problems where appropriate and work with OITS staff to prioritize problems and potential resolutions, including both short term and long-term solutions.

Pay: $103,784.00 - $127,830.00 per year
