**About the Role**:
As a Yoga Instructor & RISEilience Café Associate, you'll play a pivotal role in creating a welcoming and harmonious atmosphere within our establishment. You'll be responsible for ensuring smooth operations at RISEilience including both the café and studio, offering excellent customer service to patrons, and assisting with various tasks as needed. Yoga instructors will alternate between classes and café to give employees variety, engage community, and provide employees with more hours to maintain a livable wage.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Conducting Yoga Classes:

- Lead dynamic and inclusive yoga classes catering to students of all levels and abilities.
- Design class sequences that incorporate a variety of yoga styles, breathing techniques, and mindfulness practices.
- Provide clear and concise instructions, ensuring proper alignment and safety throughout the class.
- Offer modifications and adjustments to accommodate individual needs and preferences.
- Instruct both hot and traditional yoga classes ages 5+.

5% Café / Front of House Operations:

- Prepare and serve basic coffee, tea, smoothies, basic snacks, and retail in accordance with café standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the café area, including the serving counter, tables, and seating areas.
- Handle cash & electronic transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system.
- Monitor inventory levels of café supplies and restock as necessary.

Salt/Sauna Room:

- Maintain Sauna & Salt Room.
- Welcome patrons and assist with questions or concerns.
- Promote benefits of Halotherapy (salt therapy)

Customer Service:

- Provide friendly, attentive service to café and yoga studio patrons, anticipating their needs and addressing any concerns promptly.
- Offer recommendations on menu items and yoga classes, promoting a holistic experience for customers.
- Handle customer feedback professionally and seek resolution to any issues that arise.
- Cultivate positive relationships with regular patrons, fostering a sense of loyalty to the establishment.
- Foster a sense of belonging and connection among students, staff, and the broader community.
- Encourage open communication, collaboration, and mutual support within the studio environment.
- Participate in community events, fundraisers, and outreach programs to strengthen community ties and promote wellness initiatives.

General Duties:

- Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cleaning tasks and securing the premises.
- Assist in marketing and promoting yoga classes, workshops, and special events through various channels including social media.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure seamless coordination between the café and yoga studio operations including cleanliness, equipment maintenance, and safety protocols.
- Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required to stay updated on company policies and procedures.
- Contribute to a positive work environment by demonstrating our values and mission, teamwork, flexibility, and a willingness to pitch in when needed.

**Qualifications**:
Certification:

- Completion of a yoga teacher training program accredited by Yoga Alliance or equivalent certification.

**Experience**:

- Previous teaching experience preferred, with a strong foundation in yoga philosophy, anatomy, and alignment principles.

Passion:

- Genuine passion for promoting holistic wellness and creating inclusive community spaces.

Communication Skills:

- Excellent verbal communication skills to effectively guide students and create a supportive atmosphere.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
