Cable Installer

Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Cable Installer to join our team. As a Cable Installer, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining various types of cables and wiring systems. This is a hands-on role that requires technical expertise and the ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments. Responsibilities: - Install, troubleshoot, and repair cable systems, including Ethernet, low voltage, and telecommunication cables - Perform network installations, including the configuration of Cisco routers and switches - Conduct field service visits to customer locations for cable installation and maintenance - Splice fiber optic cables and perform necessary testing to ensure proper functionality - Use hand tools and equipment to complete cable installations, such as drills, crimpers, and cable cutters - Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards - Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise Skills: - Strong knowledge of computer networking principles and protocols - Familiarity with mechanical concepts related to cable installation - Proficiency in using hand tools commonly used in cable installation - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and customers If you are a motivated individual with experience in cable installation and a passion for providing high-quality service, we encourage you to apply. Pay: $1,200.00 - $1,700.00 per week
