Recreational Sports Camp Coaches

Beast 'Em Sports is currently looking for a camp Director and Coaches to run our multi-sports recreational camp in the CAPE The camp is scheduled for August 12th - 16th from 8:30am - 12:00pm in Chatham, MA and 1:00pm - 4:00pm in Orleans, MA.
**Interviews will be held virtually via ZOOM**
Are you interested in working as a Camp Coach for a great sports organization? A Beast 'Em Sports Camp Coach’s main responsibility is to teach the fundamentals to the athletes attending any of our events. They will be responsible for leading groups of athletes and providing a fun and safe experience. A Beast 'Em Coach will help young athletes acquire a feeling of high self-esteem, self-worth, and competence in multi-sports. A Beast 'Em Coach will be responsible for the safety and well-being of each participant.
Campers will get the chance to explore and engage in various traditional sports such as basketball, soccer and flag football, alongside fun activities such as obstacle courses, relay races, and more
**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The following are examples of the various functions required. The job requirements are not limited to the items on this list.
- Ensuring safe and healthy environment for all participants.
- Teach the fundamentals of multiple sports.
- Assist with controlling athletes to ensure efficient safety for all participants. Deal with disciplinary issues with the provided guidelines by Camp Director.
- Lead drills, stretches, team practices, stations and referee team games.
- Always knowing where all assigned team members are. Never losing sight of assigned team members or any other participants.
- Attend early morning staff meeting led by Camp Director.
- Help with the set-up and break down.
- Performing daily accurate sign out procedure with team parents.
- Other responsibilities will get discussed during interview and outlined in your coaching contract.
**Qualifications**:
- Have a Driver's License & a Car (Strongly preferred)
- Great communication Skills (required)
- Dependable & Reliable (required)

Pay: $550.00 per week
Expected hours: 35 - 35.5 per week
