**Duties include**:
**Front Desk**

Answer all incoming phone calls and direct appropriately. Greet all who enter reception area and assist them accordingly. Sort and deliver all incoming mail to the appropriate person or department. Use Encompass to identify the appropriate recipient of mail that is not directed to the attention of anyone. Sort and deposit all incoming faxes in the mail room to the appropriate employees. Use Encompass to identify appropriate recipient of fax messages that fail to identify to whom they were sent. Provide necessary training to employees who provide temporary assistance at the front desk.

**Assistant Loan Processor**

Generate commitment letters. Completes the clear to close procedure - HMDA and Data Integrity. Order pay-offs on files. Order VOE’s when needed. Order credit supplements. Request Loan Estimates if credit and appraisal fees have changed and update Homestead Trust Account page. Work on declined/withdrawn files. Assist processors with whatever else is needed. Run D/U and L/P. Assist in other areas and perform other duties as directed by management.

**Position Requirements**:
Minimum of high school diploma; college degree preferred. Familiarity with Encompass loan handling software program preferred. Self-motivated with good written and oral communication skills. Ability to handle delicate situations with tact and diplomacy. Ability to interact effectively, with courtesy and respect always, toward customers, fellow employees and the staff of other settlement service providers to resolve concerns. Ability to work effectively under time constraints. Ability to adapt quickly to fluctuating loan volume. Analytical ability, detail oriented with an aptitude for figures. Data entry, computer and typing skills. Position requires the ability to work overtime during peak periods.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
