**Plant Manager Job Description**
- Successful Family-Owned Manufacturing Plant seeks a Plant Manager with proven leadership skills and a strong work ethic to join our team. This senior-level position reports to the General Manager of DBA._

**Primary Responsibilities**:
The Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing the efficient and safe operation of the manufacturing plant, with a focus on maximizing productivity and profitability. Key responsibilities include:
**Maximize Plant Capacity & Efficiency**:Lead efforts to enhance throughput and operational efficiencies to increase manufacturing profitability.
Continuously assess and optimize production processes, workflows, and staffing to meet production goals.

**Assure Quality Control**:Collaborate with the Quality Assurance (QA) Department to maintain high product quality standards.
Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure consistent product quality.

**Monitor Yield and Cost Control**:Analyze production costs and yields to identify opportunities for cost savings and improved productivity.
Implement strategies to control and reduce production costs while maximizing output.

**Assure Sanitation Processes**:Work closely with the Sanitation Manager to ensure that sanitation and hygiene protocols are followed rigorously.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with regulatory standards.

**Support R&D Efforts**:Collaborate with the Research and Development team to facilitate new product development and process improvements.
Provide input and resources to support innovation within the plant.

**Requirements**:

- **Leadership Experience**: A minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing plant setting.
- **Education**: A high school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree in Business or Industrial Management with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
- **Industry Expertise**: Experience in the production of meat, poultry, and Ready-to-Eat (RTE) facilities.
- **Regulatory Knowledge**: Strong understanding of regulatory compliance, including HACCP and USDA guidelines.
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- **Interpersonal Skills**: Strong interpersonal skills to lead and collaborate with a diverse team.
- **Training Ability**: Ability to provide on-the-job training to staff.
- **Technical Proficiency**: Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
