**The Position**:
Private Mathematics Tutor for high school students, primarily in-person, for after-school hours.

**The Responsibilities**:

- Instruct on mathematic concepts from the student’s current curriculum
- Identify gaps in knowledge and work to build a strong foundation
- Communicate progress with a weekly session note
- Schedule student according to tutoring goals and plan

**The Requirements**:

- At least a bachelor’s degree
- At least two years of teaching or tutoring experience
- At least 6 hours of availability, Monday-Thursday
- Ability to commit to a full school year
- Current fingerprint card, when applicable
- A clear passion for helping students succeed.

**The Process**:

Our process of selecting and onboarding a tutor is as follows:

- You send a current resume
- You complete a survey telling us more info about you and your availability.
- We review your information to determine whether you would be a good fit with our company.
- We contact you to begin the interview process.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 10 per week
