Job Title: Banquet Server

Job Summary: As a Banquet Server at Holliday Farms, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of private events and banquets by providing exceptional service to club members and guests. Your main responsibility will be to deliver a seamless and memorable dining experience through efficient and courteous service. Your attention to detail and ability to anticipate guest needs will contribute to the overall satisfaction of attendees during these special occasions.

Job Tasks/Duties:
Prepare event spaces by setting up tables, chairs, and decorations as per event plans.

Welcome and greet guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner as they arrive at the event.

Assist guests in finding their assigned tables and provide any necessary guidance or assistance.

Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, catering to guests' preferences and dietary restrictions.

Serve plated meals, buffets, and beverages promptly and gracefully, ensuring the correct items are presented to each guest.

Clear tables, remove used dishes and utensils, and maintain table settings to ensure a tidy and organized dining area.

Refill beverages and remove empty glasses to keep guests' drinks replenished throughout the event.

Respond to guest inquiries, provide menu recommendations, and address special requests with a positive attitude.

Collaborate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure the timely delivery of food and drinks to guests.

Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly address any concerns or issues, seeking assistance from the supervisor when necessary.

Assist in the setup and breakdown of event spaces before and after banquets.

Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and secure work environment.

Uphold Holliday Farms' high standards of service excellence and professionalism at all times.

Work harmoniously with the event team, kitchen staff, and bartenders to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for guests.

Demonstrate a good understanding of the event menu and be able to answer questions about the dishes.

Stay informed about the latest trends and developments in the hospitality industry to enhance the guest experience.

Licenses and Special Requirements:

- Food safety certification.
- Legal age to serve alcoholic beverages (if applicable).

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 - 10 per week

Shift:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift
- Night shift

Weekly day range:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Ability to Commute:

- Zionsville, IN 46077 (preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

Work Location: In person
