Norfolk, United States US Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Full time

**Duties**:

- You will examine program requirements to determine impact of work stoppages and areas that require special requirements.
- You will analyze contract fund status reports to determine if the contractor's progress and expenditures compare with negotiated estimates.
- You will oversee the content of planning, scheduling, performance measurements, progress, forecasting and configuration change control documentation applicable to the technical, financial and production efforts of the contracts.
- You will participate in pre-bid conferences to discuss construction or maintenance features and requirements.
- You will conduct post-award Pre-Construction (PreCon) meeting with contractor to explain scope of work requirements and ensure deliverable timetable is understood.
- You will monitor production progress for management's attention to ensure timely correction of deficiencies within schedule.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). You must be certified as a Career Field Engineering and Technical Management Level I. Certification is required within 24 months of appointment.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This is a bargaining unit position.
