- **Summary**_

Machado Construction Co. Inc., is a family owned and operated business located in Halethorpe, MD. We are seeking an experienced Asphalt Paver to join our team. _**3 years of related experience is required**_.
- **Duties**_
- Install quality asphalt pavement.
- Assist construction and/or paving crew with various duties.
- Assist in the placement, moving, and/or dismantling of signs, barricades, cones, and other traffic devices as necessary.
- Must follow all direction from job foreman explaining daily tasks for each individual job site/project.
- Must follow all safety protocols regarding personal safety, traffic control management, and equipment safety, including attending all required safety meetings.
- Other job duties as assigned.
- **Requirements**_
- Ability to operate the asphalt paver.
- A valid driver's license is preferred, but not required.
- Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check.
- Must be punctual and have good time management skills.
- Must be able to abide by all safety protocols and procedures.
- **Physical Requirements**_
- Must be able to be on your feet for long periods of time, including walking, standing, squatting, etc.
- Must be able to lift at least 70 pounds and 50 pounds overhead with no issue.
- Ability to tolerate working outdoors in all environmental temperatures and weather.
- Ability to work in areas with the potential for high noise levels.
- Ability to work days, nights, and weekends if needed.
- **Education and/or Experience **_
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 3 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- **Salary**_

$28-$35 hourly based on experience.
