Pay: $18-$22 per hour. Spanish-speaking a plus.

Must be able to work in person in Pikesville, MD, 30-40 hours per week.

**Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Schedule patient appointments accurately, ensuring efficient use of physician's time and proper coordination with other staff members.
- Manage incoming calls, screen and direct them appropriately, providing information or taking messages as needed.
- Verify patient information and insurance details, update records, and ensure all necessary forms are completed.
- Assist patients with completing necessary paperwork and forms.
- Handle patient inquiries and concerns promptly and courteously, escalating issues to the appropriate staff members when necessary.
- Follow privacy and confidentiality guidelines in handling patient information.
- Adhere to office policies and procedures, contributing to a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Assist with administrative tasks as necessary.

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in a medical receptionist or similar role is preferred
- Familiarity with medical administrative support tasks and procedures
- Strong knowledge of office equipment and computer systems
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Spanish and English preferred.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Outgoing personality, willing to follow up with clients over the phone
- Professional demeanor and customer service-oriented approach

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
