**Position Summary**

The CMM Programmer will develop, validate and operate programs for coordinate measuring machines (CMMs).

**Essential Functions**

Utilize CMM software to create and validate CMM programs for both final and in-process inspection and measurement of complex finished product.

Operate CMM to prove out programs and as needed, to support production.

Maintain good housekeeping practices in work area and on machines. Comply with all company safety rules and regulations. Wear necessary personal protective equipment, as required.

Actively participate in cross-training, cost savings and team activities to improve processes.

Maintain appropriate tact and diplomacy in dealings with co-workers, team members and supervisors.

**Experience and Education**

Minimum of 5 years of aerospace CMM Programming experience is required.

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Degree/certificate from vocation school or college program is a plus, but extensive experience may substitute for education.

**Supervisory Responsibility**

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
