ACS Global is looking for several Structured Cabling Technicians with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the commercial market. The duties will include, installation, termination and tie up of CAT6A cabling, Dressing & terminating of IDF’s/patch panels, hanging of access panels per the floor plan, testing and labeling.

DUTIES INCLUDE:
Install (rough in, terminate, test and label) low voltage cabling for voice, data, AV, security, WAPs and fiber optic cabling systems. Our services include outside plant cabling, wireless networks, CCTV, access control, intercom, paging and data centers.

Troubleshoot and repair existing cabling as needed for our customers.

Usually working under a Lead Technician or Project Manager as part of a team but also have the ability to work independently when required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
At least 5+ years’ experience performing Job Description responsibilities listed
Knowledgeable of all industry standards (NEC, TIA/EIA, BICS
Proficient in all aspects of structured cable installation
Excellent reading and understanding blue prints/floor plans
Demonstrate advanced troubleshooting skills
Demonstrate great communication skills - verbal and written
Good understanding of structured cabling codes and installation practices.
Must be a motivated self-starter
Must have valid driver's license and be able to pass a post-offer drug screen,

Must be able to lift 50 lbs: must be able to bend, stoop, reach and climb
