Mobile Phlebotomist

**Mobile Phlebotomist Opportunity**:
TalentWell is hiring a **Mobile Phlebotomist** to support the team for a rapidly growing medical ancillary services company and their clients (Home Health and Assisted Living Facilities) within **Austin, TX **. Previous experience working as a mobile phlebotomist, drawing blood for geriatric patients and supporting nursing homes/skilled nursing facilities is highly preferred This position will be a part of the STAT team. All applicants must be comfortable with high volume blood draws and frequent travel within the Austin and surround areas. **Active Texas Driver's License and personal vehicle for use is required for this role.**
- Full-time position
- **Pay**:$20.00/hour (.47/mileage reimbursement)
- **Schedule: Monday-Friday 3AM-11AM**:

- Location: Role travels daily following assigned routes/schedules within the Austin, TX area ; specimen drop off at the FedEx next to the Austin Airport or STAT Lab in Round Rock

**Mobile Phlebotomist Essential Job Functions**:

- Responsible for drawing all patient samples within assigned routes and schedules
- Communicate any current or potential customer issues within an assigned territory with suggestions for resolution
- Maintain detailed records of time worked and mileage
- Maintain regular contact with assigned facilities and staff and address all service concerns
- Assist with all correction and missing information requests from Insurance and Billing teams
- Provide coverage for sample collection duties when needed
- Be a friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable face of the company's laboratory services
- Other job-related duties as assigned by manager

**Mobile Phlebotomist Knowledge, Skills, Abilities**:

- Phlebotomist License/Certification and completion of Phlebotomy Program is preferred
- Trained in venipuncture and thorough understanding of tube/draw requirements for tests ordered
- Excellent written and verbal interpersonal communication skills
- Reliable means of personal transportation
- Can-do work ethic, positive attitude, and ability to independently resolve problems

**Mobile Phlebotomist Physical Requirements**:

- The employee must be able to stand and/or walk at least five hours per day.

Pay: $18.00 per hour
