They exhibit strong initiative, requiring mínimal supervision while being proactive. They are passionate about healthy eating and understand cooking and ways to introduce foods to “picky” eaters.

This family has multiple indoor cats that are friendly and enjoy being part of the family dynamic.

Both parents work from home and want someone who can navigate the days with their daughter in a fun and productive manner while they work upstairs.

**THE DAUGHTER | **At the tender age of 14 months, this little girl is pure energy Her contagious joy lights up any room she enters. She is bright, joyful, and determined. She needs plenty of stimulation to keep her engaged and focused; otherwise, she wanders into her parents’ office.

She loves going on outings to local parks/playgrounds and libraries. Her parents want her to explore and go on adventures, encouraging the nanny to take her to all kid-friendly places in the area. She also loves playing at home. Her favorite activities include bubbles, reading, being chased, and exploring.

She is a great sleeper and still naps daily for 1 to 2 hours mid-afternoon.

Like most toddlers, she loves snacks but is not as fond of foods. She has no dietary restrictions or known allergies.

The nanny will keep the communal areas tidy and free of hazards. They will also help with the daughter’s laundry, bed linens, dishes, empty diaper pails, restock items, notify the parents of any needed items, etc.

They love being a nanny, and they love toddlers. They can anticipate a toddler's needs and are familiar with developmental milestones. They can take charge of the day with the toddler and proactively attend to her needs, making her days full of enrichment and fun. They love teaching and helping to develop young minds. They avoid screens and do not offer TV as an option.

**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE CONTINUED | **They can commit to the family long-term, at least one year, but ideally longer.

They are comfortable working while the parents work from home. The parents respect the nanny’s work and do their best to avoid the communal areas, where possible, to allow the nanny and toddler the space to be together.

Friendly and kind. Trustworthy. Reliable. Active and energetic. Enthusiastic about their work. Lives locally.

Strong command of English, written and verbal. Speaking a second language is a perk.

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**:
A minimum of five years of dedicated experience working as a professional nanny.
A minimum of two years of proven experience in caring for toddlers.
A deep-seated passion for child development and engagement in activities suitable for toddlers. A sense of inspiration and pride in delivering high-quality childcare.
Highly organized and enjoys helping families implement structure.
Mandatory immunizations are required to work with young children - flu, covid, etc. Willingness to make at least a one-year commitment to the family, ideally longer.
Clear driving record and background.

**ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS**:
Comfortable with parents who work from home.

No cat allergies.

**CERTIFICATIONS AND REFERENCES**:
Current CPR and First Aid Certification - pediatrics and adults Excellent references from previous nanny employers.

**THE SCHEDULE | **Monday to Friday 9 AM to 5 PM, with flexibility to help out with the occasional date night.

**THE RATE | **$30 per hour. Paid through payroll. Guaranteed weekly hours. Generous paid leave.

**THESTARTDATE| **June/July2024

Pay: $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
