Caregiver for Elderly

Responsibilities:

- Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as companionship, meal preparation, grooming, and light housekeeping
- Medications reminders according to prescribed schedules and document medication administration
- Assist client with mobility and transfers, including using proper lifting techniques
- Monitor and report any changes in residents' physical or mental health status
- Ensure resident rights are respected and upheld at all times
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
- Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding as needed
- Implement behavior management techniques when necessary
- Provide specialized care for client with dementia or memory care needs

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in in-home care/assisted living or a similar caregiving role is preferred
- Knowledge of social work principles and practices is a plus
- Familiarity with medication administration procedures is desired
- Familiarity with transferring patients
- Understanding of resident rights and the importance of maintaining confidentiality
- Ability to provide compassionate care while maintaining professionalism

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 20 per week
