Janitor

J&J Janitorial & Maintenance Service is a janitorial company in Winchester, VA. We are autonomous and professional. This current position is for an early morning full time shift. 5am-1pm. Location of work is Front Royal Va.

**Duties**:

- Perform general janitorial duties to maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the facility
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Dust and wipe down surfaces
- Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces
- Restock supplies in restrooms and other areas as needed
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs or repairing minor damages

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in facilities maintenance or commercial cleaning preferred
- Knowledge of custodial practices and procedures
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, and carpet cleaners
- Familiarity with floor care techniques including buffing and waxing

**Skills**:

- Strong attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Good time management skills to complete tasks within designated timeframes
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and move heavy objects as required

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
