As a Content Writer, you will be responsible for identifying trending and exciting news topics and creating engaging and informative website content that will be syndicated to Microsoft Start. **Responsibilities**:

- Write and edit content for blog posts that will be consumed by millions of readers on Microsoft Start
- Conduct thorough research on industry-related topics to ensure accuracy and credibility
- Fact-check information and verify sources to maintain high-quality standards
- Ensure all content is written in accordance with the Chicago Manual Style guidelines
- Proofread and edit content for grammar, punctuation, and style consistency
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in content writing

**Skills**:

- Enjoys writing a lot of content and is competitive in driving content performance through increasing page views
- Strong copywriting techniques to create persuasive content, including headlines that get attention
- Creative writing skills to engage readers and convey information effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in using the Chicago Manual Style for writing and editing
- Strong fact-checking abilities to ensure accuracy in content
- Ability to write clear, concise, and compelling content
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for grammar, punctuation, and style consistency
- Proficient in proofreading and editing content for errors or inconsistencies
- Familiarity with WordPress for content publishing
- Familiarity with Canva for images

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
